Jin Mao Tower - Built in 1998, it's the tallest building in China and currently the fourth tallest in the world. We ate dinner on the 54th floor and had a night cap on the 87th. | |

Three interesting facts below: In Mongolian, the region is known as öbör monggol where öbör can mean south, inner, front, bosom, or breast. Genghis Khan conquered Yinchuan, Ningxia in the early thirteenth century. In prehistoric times, Gansu was host to a number of Neolithic cultures. The Dadiwan culture, from where numerous archaeologically significant artifacts have been excavated, flourished in the eastern end of Gansu from about 6000 BC to about 3000 BC. | |
